I'm a level 7 dark elf and i have a lot of trouble fighting against caravan of necromancers.. They just keep reviving! I only win against them when their main forces are skeletons which they revive and have way low hp. but can someone give me advice on how to fight them?
Btw why do caravan of knights appear so little times? i have only seen it once so far |
its kind of funny DE's and barbs are trouble for me and they appear the most
maybe u should use a lil more magic |
i prefer Might More.. Magic needs alot of time to use the full force of all the mana but De's aren't made out to last long. They're quick but can be taken out quick. For example i killed a wizard in thiefing without art in 2 turns. the attack that the might build would have given would have been much more useful than 1 spell (i think my hero only had its turn once) |

yes, IMO, some more mana and SP wud have been useful for u.
had the ghosts(and prolly vamps too) been 'spiked'(or arrow-ed) off u cud have had ur concentration on the (remaining) vamps and envoys.
but some DE players might provide u with better advise.

its the hardest type caravan of necro
with 10-11 death envoy
no chance to win this
my friend, lvl 7 might DE can finish TG2 in 6 days
there are many types of caravan of necro:
a stack of death envoy in the middle
skelbow+vamp/ghost+mass small stack of zombies
or just 4 stacks of ghost and few stacks of vamps
remember, cape of wind really useful against caravan DE/wiz
and for efficiency defender shield far more cheaper than dragon shield
i suggest to use 1 ring of inspiration |

they're fast
they can finish them before demon's gated unit deals much dmg |
yeah, try to finish 10 devils and 10 gated devils later ;p |
i would rather demon to necro any day |

three remarks (even if i am elf lvl6):
1. spikes would have been more useful at the beginning
2. necro troops raise slowly, so focuse on one at the time
3. spell power and deffense are more valuable than attack (from my fights with/against DE's and checking hunts against ghosts/apparitions) |

and if u can reach enemy in 1 turn (caravan),
atk better than sp |
My opinion (as knight) : concentrate in 2 opposite corners to split the necro army in 2.
A juicy bait on one side (for knight, bows or X-bows - for DE, rogues ?), tanks on the other (lizards, minos). Necro will lose time traveling from 1 corner to the other, letting you kill the feshly raised ones.

Or... (as knight too) place ur tank unit in the corner, enemy unit who died will be step by the other unit, so basically the necro just can raised 3 stack. And if u lucky enough u can beat the caravan before the necro used all his mana. |
