Lizard charge:
Target's defense is ignored by 20% per each tile covered by this creature before its attack (it cannot drop lower than zero, though).
ahm i dont understand this sentence:) can someone explain me this effect in other words or if someone can to translate it in german :D
thanks |
To put it simple&short - the bigger distance liz have to move to reach the stack they atack - the more damage they deal. |
Imagine, you have a stack of Lizard cavalry and an enemy creature with 100 Defense.
Lizard cavalry has a speed of 6. So, if:
they move one tile to attack the enemy -> enemy creature is 'considered to have' 80 Defense (100 - 20% = 80)
Lizards move 2 tiles -> 60 Defense (100 - 2*20% = 60)
3 tiles -> 40 Defense
4 tiles -> 20 Defense
5 tiles -> 0 Defense
6 tiles (Lizards' maximum speed) -> 0 Defense, still. Because of "(it cannot drop lower than zero, though)."
And, the bigger the difference between Attack and Defense - the more damage you inflict. That's what "Lizard charge" ability does - increases the difference =) |
now i got it! thanks :D |
So the lizard cavalry basically it's same with knight cavalry ? Altough the knight cavalry is increasing their attack each tile they move ? |

for Geblehan:
Yes, you can say that. It is sort of similat in that sense. |
For knights cavalry
The damage dealt by this creature increases in proportion to the distance it covered before the attack each turn. The damage is increased by 5% per tile covered. |
+8
so it's not quite the same thing, although simular. |
