AuthorWell, after weeks of suggestions...
for zouris:

Yep. I've just realised how dependent I am to skill points gained from losses. I was hoping to reach faction level 4 faster but it seems that I'll be delayed. I guess I'm gonna have to use arts now. And I was saving gold for castle upgrades for other races too. My long term strategy just got longer. XD
So what part of the new update removes that "strategy" part from hunts? After getting lucky with stack numbers do you now simply click and attack randomly to win? Did I miss something?

Yes, of course you still need strategy (you will always lose if your moves will be stupid enough), but I'm saying that Luck is MUCH MORE important now than it was before, because you can't make many attempts to win impossible battles.
So, you must be lucky in the FIRST attempts.

I'm saying that:
1) you always need a good strategy on hard battles (now and before)
2) but now you need MUCH LUCK than you needed it before

So, now your victory is determined more by LUCK than by strategy, which means that it is more important to be lucky than to be a good strategist now (if you want to make many records).
And that I don't like.

Why do you now need so much luck? It's only a tiny chance that they will run away, and then they might not catch up to other (this happened to me on .ru), and then you still might win.

SHOW ME ONE. Everyone is talking about losing hunts intentionally and gaining the great strenght. Level 7 skill with level 2 combat level. Level 7 means 900 SP = more than 1800 lost hunts. Show me one idiot who would intentionally kill almost all creatures than intentionally lose 2000 times. Thats 500 hours of recovery time and about 500 more of fighting(if such fight takes 15 minutes)..with waiting its even more. SO show me one such loozer and i will recommend him some therapy.

Level 3 and only level 6 faction but it is kind of an example...
He didn't exactly lose a lot of hunts on purpose... he just hunted a hell lot! You haven't checked the combat log have you?
You haven't checked the combat log have you?

And you did?

See his battles as level 1-2.

Combat Level 2 and
160.02+90.24+806.16+280.64+280.04 = 1617.10
faction skill points (similar to Brilliant[10], who have 1746.58 FSP)

Combats fought: 3893
Victories: 193
Defeats: 3700
jeez....i dont wanna say this but i think i have to say it...

there is only a few of ppl who do such thing, intentionally lose huntings...and don't forget, they do that by hard work and that_is_so_not_cheating. i dont wanna say this either, but i have to say that you all sound like being jealous of such players...there is no rule against it, if you all want to have the same high faction skill points, so do that! it won't harm anybody.

don't tell me that you can't do that because it will take too much time for "intentionally lose" in 2000+ huntings...because its what they do, they earn it because of their hard work! and that is juz the way they do it which is their own option about how to play in this game.

oh my...
"killed the guild of hunters"
it just the answer of the ppl that want losing intentionally stopped
now losing get less, and now, ur complaining again??
what next?
29 and 30,
Please closely read 1 and 11 posts and you will understand what is all about here.

i do understand what its all about. i am all against the new changes especially in "flooding exp" and "cut sp in hunting". i agree totally 100% with post number 1. and if you think you do agree with that too, then it means what i wrote in post #29 is not referring to you. i guess we have been in the same side since the beginning though.
Well, I've been playing since the hunt updates have taken effect and I must say it's not so bad. You still gain skill from hunts and hunt assists provided that you win, of course. I'm not going to stop assisting in hunts just because it gives combat experience. In fact I think hunt assists will be even more important now as source of arts to be sold/used. And those complaining that the AP battle requirements breaks the Hunter's Guild are simply over-reacting I think. The removal of "leisure hunts" (1/3, 1/2, 2/3) means that all hunts will eventually require usage of arts anyway. So what's the fuzz?
