If you get a theif invite
Then you set an ambush, and you catch an npc or a player
IF you catch a npc, how do you know how strong he is?
Is it based on thiefs guild? is it based on how many times you met that type of caravan before (e.g. 6th time you meet the caravan of wizards) or is it based on your combat level?
So the first caravan of elfs is even strong as the last caravan of elfs, when your almost level 7
Or how does this work?, can someone explain it to me? |
There are many types of caravans for each of factions. With every victory that caravan grows stronger (abt 10% I think) With every your loss that particular caravan (to which you lost) gets weaker (abt 5%, again not sure)
In general, the higher your combat level, the stronger the caravan.
You can sometimes guess what caravan you'll get from caravan hero's stats. If it's a DE with abnormaly high SP then you're about to meet 4 stacks of hydras (or it's variation - hydras+liz) |
So if i start for example at level 10 with the thiefs guild will the caravans i meet first (so before they become stronger) be the same as the caravans i meet in the beginning when my combat level is 6?
Just like hunts, they increase each time you meet them, independent from your combat level |

No. For each level there is a 'starter pack' so to speak. Caravans are tougher at level 7 as compared to 6. They are much more tougher at lvl 9 compared to lvl 6. That's why it's important to start working on TG early. |
I would recommend starting at level 6 with diamond upgrades. Although diamond ups are less critical for some factions than others. |
Most would recommend to start doing thief ambushes at lvl 8.
This is mainly because you have the firepower to work with. |
I started at level 7 "without" diamond upgrades and managed to get to thief 1 in under a week. But after that it became hard, but as soon as i diamond upgraded i managed to finish thief lvl 2 in 14 days exactly. |

laborers guild (almost) 4
full hunter set
9 attack
6 defence
+12% initiative
20% damage to neutral creatures,
1 to minimum and maximum damage of all hero's stacks
good enough? |
Caravans aren't neutral, so hunter set looses some of it's charm.
Also, elf without efk shouldn't even try TG unless he has an awful lot of time on his hands, imo. |
