AuthorSomeone is buying all mercury!!!
You're really giving me to much credit when you think I on my own could ruin the games economy

Aye, you couldn't even if you tried - but you're conviniently here :)
I remember a simular argument, when a certain player tryed to convince anyone who'd listen that Erlemar was responsible for 1st mercury crysis ;)
Your example is lacking, cause the supermarket isn't the facility he is just another trader like Frank, so obviously the supermarket would increase his orders to the facility, since he can sell so much and would continiue to be less expensive than Frank.

Actually fusei is like the supermarket, he buys at the facility and resells it to his customers. And if they don't want to buy from him he has to lower his prices, just like supermarket. Also there are other supermarkets who might offer the same stuff for lower prices (e.g. other merchants).

And some people would even make the long ways to the farmer or what ever and buy their stuff directly from the production (e.g. the facility).

And stealing is an act of taking your values, while you are away of or don't notice it.
and for StorminMerlin, it's different.
He don't steals money to anyone with card game.
When he creates a challenge, you can CHOOSE to join it, or not.
When you create a challenge, if StorminMerlin comes, you can CHOOSE to accept or not.

When you buy all ressources at the shift end, you don't give choice to other players: if they want ressources, they are FORCED to buy if from you at the market.
see the difference?

It would be OK to sell and buy at higher price on market if there was someting like 15k ressources on facilities:
players would have CHOICE: spend time to move to facility site and pay low price, or pay high market price, but without losing time.
But buying all the stock to FORCE other players to buy at your high price is very unfair.
The players have the fair choice to try to get some ressources at the facillity too, no one is forcing them to buy. And if they don't get them at the first try they can try again only 1 hour later.

When I needed huge ammounts of ressources for arts and building, I went to the facility and bought them - there is no trick involved you just have to invest a little time and patience.

But when I only need a few ressources I'm buying them on the market, cause the small fee is not worth the effort to buy them manually.

So there is nothing unfair about it.

When I said sit it means sit on the market until someone pays up the banditry fee to free them. In the process, they of course, look expensive -.- . And I never said anything about circulation being broken mind you, you said exactly right, it adds an unnecessary step to the circulation which you have control over.

Fair enough, I'd imagine this little fantasy world here is a dog-eat-dog world too. Even so, I just don't think what you do is right for the masses so I just had to shout "UNFAIR!!!!" >=O , and play the role of a consumer being suck dry by businesspeeps such as you
err i meant fusei, not you XD

Sorry -.-

Actually I was suppose to write 59.
I'm big and bungling XD
62:
of course my post was not only against fusei.
It's against all other players acting like him.

Actually fusei is like the supermarket, he buys at the facility and resells it to his customers.
It's wrong.
Because in real life, you can't buy direcly from facilities (if you live in england and want to buy shoes makes in china, you will not move to facility to buy your shoes, because it would be too much expensive)

In this game, it costs 0 gold to move to the facility.
Everyone can buy directly at facility, without any depenses to get it from there.
That's why in this game, facilities are like the supermarkets in real life: the place where most people goes to buy ressources at the lower price they can.

fusei and other traders are not like supermarkets, they are like Frank on my precedent exemple.
make a list in off game forum, with all the merchant names, so everyone can block them, and no one will buy anymore from them
As soon as no one buys from them anymore, they ll stop being the noob
OK I live in germany and there a many factories you can go to and buy directly from for lower prices.

Still they are also selling to merchants and most people buy in the shop not at the facility (I guess because of greater comfort).

Consumers Guild, I like it.

i think you got it yourself. In real life, I don't mind buying marked up price because going to a factory to pick up just one kind of item and then to another to pick another item and so on and so forth would totally suck major hind. The supermarket cuts the logistical hassle.

In this game, travelling is easy as a few clicks and you don't buy usually buy so many different items in one go, why should we pay more so that we save maybe I dunno, 3-5 clicks?
so much posts!
i read a message, and the time to answer, 10 new messages.

The players have the fair choice to try to get some ressources at the facillity too, no one is forcing them to buy. And if they don't get them at the first try they can try again only 1 hour later.

I wouldn't call it a 'fair' choice.
I remember my last artifact: defender shield.
i needed 3 days to buy it from the production site, with 2-3 attempts per day to buy at the shift end.
Ok, i was not forced to buy to traders like fusei (nothing against him, but i don't know any other trader name) but the choice they gaves to me was very bad:
-you can choose to let me steal your gold and buy your defender shield at market
-or i will make you lose 3 days of playing, before being able to buy your defender shield at production site.

i don't like the first one, i don't like the second one too.
I don't consider it is a fair choice: all options are bad.
i choosed the second one only because i don't want to give money to that kind of players, they will always receive 0 gold from me.
Well there is such a supermarket and it's called stock exchange or do you think the oil price went to it's peaks without some help. There it's even worse because people store resources to push the price.

Just think what happens if no one would broker resources. They would still be gone in an instant at the facility AND there would be none available at the market. As it is now you always have the option to buy at the market, if you are in great need and you have the option to give it a try at the facility, neither me nor any other trader possess some supernatural mercury buying power.
75

We probably don't even have to try so hard at the facilities if businesspeeps stop snatching them away a couple of seconds after a shift. And of course no one possesses any supernatural buying powers. It's the collective act of merchanting the mercury by a whole bunch of people such as thee. I might beat you, but I also have to beat a number of other people who's just going to resell it a higher price.
to 73

But thats exactly the same as in game. If you go to the facilities you might be ambushed on the way, thus not only loosing time, but also some gold.

And there are other reasons why some players don't like to travel.

And when I needed ressources, I needed all kind of them so yes I did walk to all the facilities and bought them. But as I said, if I only need a few, I buy them at the market.
for fusei:
This is an argument you can't win :) So why play the martire - taking the heat for all the traders, everywhere?)
77

Right, the thieves. I forgot about them. Forgive a lvl 5's innocent attitude because we do not get ambushes.

Another dog-eat-dog element ^^", I'm afraid I'm starting to join the businesspeeps side.
Saaaaayyyy, how frequent is an ambush?

*sorry about double post*
