| well my assumptions are dumb than. but the rest applies still. never been much into mercury sales anyways, much more into defender shields and luck amulets :) | so, for the admins: could we have a regular restocking of mercury, say, once a day, to help everyone play?
;) | Well I'm sure they're not scripts to buy these items the same thing is happening to gems. i just bought 20 gems. But there was 68 available. After i clicked buy for the 20 the rest just disappeared i suppose people are doing the same thing as me i need the gems for a the lv 2 mage guild
At least you've seen something. All i see is that mercury is going from 0.40 to 0.70.
Btw neither you can't be SURE that there are NO scripts for buying, like i can't say that i'm 100% SURE that there are scripts for buying.
Worse thing is that admins can't be sure as well.

it really depends. theoretically you can't prove for 100%. but from the gaming pattern admin can say that 95% is enough evidence for catching a script user.
and think that this is best approach. (i mean 95% confidence interval) | | Its definitely not scripts. I just got my hands on 5 mercury (all i needed) if it was scripts i wouldn't get any at all | If 1000 players are online and 1%, so 10 people, are waiting to buy mercury as soon as possible, it explains easily why so many people are upset, being unable to get any. No need to have scripts for that.
And to MrHellRaiser: your reasoning has merits, but I doubt anyone can get more than 20 mercuries a day just for the market - and if one can, so can others, so prices can't stay too high for long. So your thousands of daily gold through mercury resales falls a bit short. But that's just my humble opinion, of course. After all, if you have found a sure way to get rich, why not put it to test? | | you think it's hard to buy mercury here? lol. should try to buy crystals in.ru. the server freezes for couple of seconds when the output time comes and then there is nothing. if you don't have at least 1mbit/s connection (upload and download)... then you just line up in the market :} | Apparently there are plenty of people, who appreciate the service that they don't have to wait at the facilities themselves and are willing to pay a small fee for that.

That is if i have enough money 0.o | to Kotrin: It's not really a problem to get 20 mercury per hour. If you are fast you can get up to 60. Once 20 from GC and twice 20 from BG. But 60 mercury per hour is really hard to sell.

I'm not a mercury salesman, I much rather sell artifacts, such as the defender shield. At the worst of times i can get atleast 3 of those each hour, and sell 'em with atleast 200 gold profit, and that's just the worst. In good times I could buy atleast 6-7 and sell 'em with 1000 gold profit. And yes, it's not that hard to get mercury. A day ago, I've broken my helmet and armor, and those usually need some stones and mercury. I just went to the facility, and with an itchy finger on F5 got about enough for both my helmet and armor, and enough to sell with a little profit. It's a system you work out. Just put your mouse right where you need to click in order to type the amount, and than the right numbers + enter. hell, you don't even need to type in correct numbers if you want to get the possible maximum, just throw in a bunch of numbers and hit enter. can be done in less than half a second.

I'd rather pay extra 50 gold once, and be able to get a job all the time, rather than not paying the 50 gold never, but being forced to buy the res. in order to enroll for work. |

well, just stop buy resources from market and get more workers into those facilities.
but, it will take times for all players co-op to work together. so, players have to suffer for awhile while pushing the output. if some players cant wait and goto market and buy, the plan will never work.

Not really. There is always a demand, that much is obvious. With the new AP rules this demand is greater than ever, meaning the chances of facilitied running low on gold are lower than ever. On your last point, I wouldn't be debating this whole issue if all I had lost was an extra 50 gold through the market, once. | RE: pang

it was shortage on gem and mercury last time if you are around at that time. i was adv on chat and forum to get more workers join the BG last time. try to advise other not to buy from market.
it took us afew weeks to push the mercury and gem output and restock back to 12k each.
but, once the news come out about the forced AP, the market turn into chaos all of sudden. as you can see, all resources was gone, even basic resources like wood and ore.
some were monopolized as usual; some are removed by admin, look, we got 12k stocks on each gem and mercury before the dragon quest event.
but, all 24k resources gone and no gold refill into the facilities; the only reason i can assume was admin did that. however, admin had slightly deposit some gem and mercury in after complained for no artifacts to forced AP rules.
the problem come in again, once the mercury and gem running low, someone will start the monopoly again. we had spend afew weeks to restore the stock but all the effort we did was gone just within afew clicks by admin :(
the even worse, we got not only gem and mercury shortage. we got all resources shortage. the chain reaction also affect to other such as steel and nickel; artifacts facilities lack on resources = stock running low = monopoly again. |
