Hoard Tax on resources.

1|2

AuthorHoard Tax on resources.
Hoarding resources isn't the problem. Hoarding resources is a solution to the resource problem. People like fusei are the problem when they buy all the resources at every shift end. I don't care whether they use scripts, have fast internet connections, a dozen fast clickers, or what, but the result is that they are able to buy all the resources in a few seconds.

So what can other people do if they are unable to buy the resources at shift end? They can either buy from the overinflated prices on the market or hoard resources whenever the admin adjusts resources or when there's a surplus. And yes, times of surplus does happens.

Instead of taxing hoarding, workers should get priority to the resource. Let's say given your labor guild level, you are producing 2 crystals. You should be able to pre-pay for those 2 crystals during your enrollment but before the shift ends. Then when the shift ends, you get those 2 crystals.

I realize 2 crystals isn't much, but at least you get something and after a few hours it would add up. Plus this solution does make sense. Why shouldn't the workers be able to buy their product?
If you check at fusei's transfer logs, its more then 2 pages of selling only Mercury. Its not an evidence but its sure enough to check if she does use a script, else she does have way too much time to spend on waiting for end of shift.

Only one thing to add : fusei - Get a life

I'm quite certain someone checked and found nothing, the only tool I use is my radio clock.

I don't get why I'm supposed to spend time waiting for the end of the shift, after all I know when it ends, so it takes me like a minute or so to get ready and buy the stuff.

i really think it's the best solution too.
but we need admins to look at this topic and to implement it :)
I really think there should be some kind of resource bonus for working in mines. Maybe, every ten times you work in a sulpher pit (ore any other mining facility (not production or machining) ther is), you get 1 of those resources, this helps the people who do the work, and takes away from thos people like fusei (no offense fusei) who try to hoard.

more people already suggested this but it is the best idea to solve this problem
i think its fair to get one of the resourses like gems or wood or the resourse that you can mine i think its fair if you get like:

if you enroll at swamill
1 wood and %50 of the enrollment gold
ore pit
1 ore and %50 of the enrollment gold
sulfer dune
1 sulfer and %25 of the enrollment gold
lab
1 mercury and 25% of the enrollment gold
crystal (mine)
1 crystal and 10% of the enrollment gold
gem mine
1 gem and 10% of the enrollment gold
(this option is avanible at lvl 1 labors guild and combat lvl 5)

this would give players more money because they can sell the resourses but this is also good for the AP cuz you get more money so more money to repair arts
hopefuly this helps
Im all for it!
Pantheon and Blood i really like those ideas
seems a very proper way to solve this newest game-hurting issue.
after reading your idea blood, I thought of something:
if you do that, you get almost twice as much money, which dosen't work that well.
Why not have a resource counter,
you go to a sawmill for 1 hour, that gets you like 180 (ish) gold, you have a choice, pay in resources or gold. In gold, you get 180 gold. In resources, you get 180 gold deposited in a wood "account".
This works by, every time you get enough gold to buy a wood (at marke price), it puts gives you 1 wood and takes the gold needed to buy that away. At weeks end, it gives all the excess gold back.

Since it gives you by market price, you could do this with anything, from wood to reprisal swords....

great idea (i dont know something else to say)
idea can be good...but with facility price, not market price.
who would pay 400 gold to buy mercury this way, to sell it 380 at facilities?

ya facility price else you begin to sell wood for 5 gold then you only need 5 gold for 1 wood (5¿ç¶´«175=
5¿ç¶´«175=
WOOPS

you can get 35 wood per our thats way to high
