Every 24 hours, if you have 21+ of a resource, you lose 5% of the resource rounded down.
This adds an element of risk to hoarding, which right now only has a liquidity issue (you can always sell it for a profit, sometimes it just takes time). |
bad idea i guess.
why? because now its crisis, and now you want the resources to be taken? now because its crisis, i put some stock on my resources. that way i don't need to buy resources for a quite long time. |
I do like some part of your idea
But for example, when i turn level 7, I need 40 wood and 60 ore to build those 2 buildings ( Underground depot and Fort)
So i start buying some ore and wood, because i already know I need them later
And the resources you get from the hunts, we need to sell them immediately because else we lose them? |

Strange to hear something like that from a wiz :) How are you going to collect resourses for miniarts?
Or if I'm planning to change faction, I'd rather collect everything I need before switching. On level 7 - that's a plenty of resourses. Quite difficult to buy everything on the map in one day - and no way I'm loosing several extra k on market :P

For miniarts, you buy them one at a time. Even doing a triple art, one triple art doesn't take more than 30 of one resource. So if you're buying 30 minis for gargoyles, just buy them one at a time, and avoid the tax.
I have no sympathy for people who flit between factions, sorry. In a game with scarce resources, like now, if you're spending hundreds of resources to switch factions, that's hundreds of resources people aren't able to spend on going up a level in their current faction.
This whole "I need to get all the resources I might ever need weeks ahead of time" is what's causing the problem in the first place. Add the tax, and you won't have to buy everything well in advance. |

| I think you can do this, but you shouldn't lose resources, but you should pay money for the additional storage room that you need if you have more than x resources, e.g. 30. |
Well, fusei must be smarter than you guys, because last time I checked she was down to 6 units of mercury or something and now she's back at 76...
If she manages to buy mercury, so can you. End of story. |
| I couldn't care less if you have umpteen pages of resources. Lets face it u don't have to go trawling through them to find stuff and also people like to hoard and what harm is it doing anyway cuz u just work to produce somemore. And besides where is all this lost resources gonna go anyways. |
It's not smarter, it's using a script, which is against the rules, but admins haven't been enforcing it.
Putting a limit on resources just encourages alts, which I'm sure they have plenty of.
If you think owning something means you don't have to pay property taxes on it, well, let's just say that you haven't owned property in most countries.
Hmmm, wonder what would happen if we just used the same codes used to get a job to get resources, with a new code after each purchase? Not only would this keep out the scripters, but it would make enough of a delay that people would only get 20 of each resource. |
If you check at fusei's transfer logs, its more then 2 pages of selling only Mercury. Its not an evidence but its sure enough to check if she does use a script, else she does have way too much time to spend on waiting for end of shift.

it doesnt mean that all of them use scripts
you can just accuse people by seeing their transfer logs but we need proof that they are using scripts |
