| ok what is this rule for since why cant we use alt accounts to talk since it makes us have to switch accounts and what can alt accounts do in chat that is bad. |
It's a logical continuation of this rule:
3.9.1. Additional characters are forbidden to post messages at the forum. Your communication identity is supposed to go through your main one.

| yeah but what about chat and what happens if you dont have enough time to go on the new one since we can just talk not give any personal info out and not post on the forum with it |
To put it simply, chatting with multi is like being Sam, but saying that you're Dan.
That, and having multichars is generaly discouraged by admins (you can see it by reading rules) so 2.10 is just another way to make creating multi pointless. |
