Forget my last post, it was easy after all.
For level 7+ players:

I just became lvl 7 and I'm doubting bout my troop setup (mostly hunting and merc quest (thieving soon as well)).

Some stuff you must know:
I have diamond incendiaries
Talents: basic off + battle fury and hellfire
Stats: 3 wisdom and 3 spellpower

For my setup I'm doubting wheter to max out incendiaries or put some more spawns or wolfs.
Or maybe max incen out anyway but donnu what to do with the remaining points. Could make spawns and wolfs bout 11 or build wolfs up to 15 maybe.


Help me :)
i dont know about the troops setup when you have incendiaries already at level 7..maybe some spell power and knowledge will help to match some enemies with high init.

but i am sure that you dont need that hellfire talent. you will waste your mana triggering bonus att on your units,thus the 3 sp will be useless. maybe it will be more fun to explore what magical talents can do for you in battle. in my opinion, battle fury and basic offense are bettter with melee demon.

My character (combat lvl 8) uses not only might (battle fury) but also magic (hellfire). I think hellfire is great talent - with many stacks (demons have a lot of stacks of monsters with great initiative) and high spellpower it's amazing. There is a one great spell called mass poison - but I found for myself battle fury to be more practical. And when it's hero turn I can cast lighting instead of mass poison spell and do a lot of (air - magical) damage also with saving of talent points. In my opinion hellfire talent is very underestimated skill and I don't know why people underestimate it.
Low level raids of tier 1 and 2 creatures shuld be doable but not tier 3.

max out inci and suc, the incis profit from battle fury like hell:) You can try and experiment with hellfire, but I think it normally just is not worth it. Spread out the remaining units to hit for inci or block enemy troops.
i agree with Alyna. hellfire requires mana to get the extra damage when its triggered. but battle fury and other offencive talents that increase your damage work for every attack not just when its triggered. at lower levels if you spec to might you can pretty much leave your talents alone. here at level 10 i have found ive been switching talents more often depending on what type of battle i am fighting. magic still seems not worth it. i do way more damage with might spec than mage spec. magic would be more worth it for group battles but there's not enough of those to warrant spending 2500 for potion of oblivion for 1 battle then spend another 2500 to switch back when i need to do hunt/merc quests again.
Thanks all for the fast and helpfull advice! I'm now experimenting with might built and maxed incen (68) but lowered suc to 11 so I can still have 20 wolfs and 8 spawns.
This seems to work nice in pve.
I also took potion of oblivion to lower wisdom and spellpower and put more skill in att.
I'll have some more testing whether to max succ to 15 after all or stick with the 20 wolfs (who still make a fairly nice 200+ dmg).
inced will usually take more than 500 damage ,with luck it will generage more than 1000 damage, it is a tiger tank^^

btw, demons is very good at thief task at lv8, you can see the combat log of aRU, nearly no lose, and I also found that the demons thief at lv8 is a bit easy.

Demons a strong, the higher level, the more strong^^
Im one or two battles away from lv 8 and am wondering about the incinderies inflame ability...
Is there any formula for how much damage it does?
Is there a limit to how many stacks it can hit (I see it says all tiles so in theory can it hit 8 creatures)?
Is this ability worth usung and if so in what situations?

oh and any advice for troops selction arts talents etc for thieving specificly as demon on lv 8 would be helpful too.
Hahaha well I learnt that inflame hits your own troops too heh wont be making that mistake again. I kinda had a look at other lv 8 demon theifs and got a good idea about troops and talents so hopefuly once I get enough money for sexy new arts I will be fine.

you dont have to find any formula, the spell page in combat will tell how much dmg they will inflict.

yep, they will hit all in those 8 tiles.

umm...well, only when you want to have some fun ^_^
kidding...when fighting elves caravan, we will use that ability a lot, lol..

hey guys i need some advice for a lvl 3 demon its for my sister anything will do i am not a demon so i cannot give advice on it really
i can't find the battle but i went up against a level 7 elf and won 36 sprites vs 17 wolves i have 40 damage magic arrow i didn't want him to charge and so i hit him ? times with it and won

wow, demon sure is a minor in terms of players...
Guys, i'm demon combat lvl7.. i think thief guild in lvl7 is quite hard, even when i'm using full art some caravan are just too hard. is it easier on lvl 7 or lvl 8? thx...
