| in this game were all lords ruled by the empire, so why do we fight each other? We don't get the other guys land or anything so why are we always fighting each other? Do we just like watching our troops die? Is there some kind of story line for this game? |

i think all the lords fighting against each other as exactly what they are called "duels". What are you supposed to do when you're this lord with all these troops under your command?
You go out and have adventures! Do some merc quests, maybe thief.... and once in a while do the Empire's quests. But what do you do to fill in the gaps in between? You fight the other lords or heroes to practice your skills, prove your bravery, or get the title of strongest. |

Agree. The empress wants us to die. She likes watching. Why do you think they institued the AP minimum and the weapon requirement? It's no fun watching bare-fisted fights. Gotta have some real bloodshed. |

I enjoy the stories written bye our dear admins, who have nice English unlike many players, having said that they are long and I managed no more than to skim.
Still we always play against our team mates in a mini game in any sport, that is how we sharpen our game. The computer monsters are predictable..
Tho fighting zounds of them in teams is a great part of the game...
