I have a Qns.
Y a mod seem the topics is ok and leave comments but another mod who view it later chose to closed it??
Is the mod before didn't notice it or the mod later is more stricter than the 1st??

Depends on the topic you were thinking off.
It may have been that one mod answered a question and left it open for more views and comments, and another mod came along after them views were posted and shut it.

| I too have noticed the same thing, though true nuff half the stuff I used to write should of been deleted or closed but I guess there is no universal code for mods to follow. I wrote one once where one mod posted a response and left the thread open and then came the next mod and shut it down with noone elses feed back, but I guess that just falls under some mods don't shut topics down at all. On another thread however,a mod left a response to something I wrote and then when I responded back to the mod, another mod came along and my reply was deleted for being off subject and I was like well if I was off subject then wasn't the other mod also? And one of the reasons the moderator deleted my lengthy defense was becuase "you need to use paragraphs". Didn't know I was in grammer school again. |
You're talking about QaH it seems. As a rule of thumb, topic is closed, if:
1. The answer is given (main condition).
1.1. - There's no activity for a long time.
1.2. - Flame or flood started.
1.3. - The topic is not related to this forum thread.

Some mods dont shut topics at all. Some prefer to let topic autors to say 'thx' and close the topic themselves. Some leave topic open for more questions from the same author, and when none are coming topic is locked. It depends on mod, and situation :) |
and a forum mod doesnt have rights in QaH, only in all other forums parts
and a sage only has rights in QaH and not in any other forum parts |

cos I saw a guy posted saying he was leaving the game cos of AP rule,
he was Lv 8 btw,

another mod came in and quote saying leave the game quietly and do not post negative comments and closed the topic.
sorry, I wasn't able to provide links cos i tink it disappear ald.
It was yest or the day before the topic was posted..
And at other times, mod deleted mod post saying it's off topic or such.
I mean mod shld noe wat they posted is correct or in topic but other mod view it in other ways..
So I was reali wondering if u have respect for each other??

Of course mods respect each other.
But sometimes even mods make mistakes - so other mods correct them. |
