| it can if u use it right beside the bowman, but ofcourse u cant target it on ur team's troops, and also, the through shot of magi and draconic breath of dragons...all will damage own teammate as well |

Actually volley doesn't target any units. It targets a square on the map, so you can target your own team's troops.
And side note, if you kill your own units or your teammate's units you get less sp. I'm not sure about xp though. |
