Author | What exactly does Units/hour in production works mean? |
I thought that output depends on workers labourer's guild level only. |
I wondered exactly the same thing this morning. Does it mean that you earn more??? |
Units/hour means how many res facility needs to have for _you_ to enroll |
probably that if you enroll there for 1 hour, it will produce 1 wood/ore/sulfur etc
And laborersguild only effects the wage you receive, not the output
*and if it does increase the output, then it wont change
Its just like the wage then, with a laborersguild of 6, you still see 175 as the wage |
Units/hour means how many res facility needs to have for _you_ to enroll
Not always, thats for production, but for mining, the facility needs at least 6 wood before you can enroll ^_^ ? |
Maybe they didn't want to leave that spot empty? :) But, you've got a point... |
The caption is a bit misleading, this column shows actually the units per product, unmodified (without LG-modifier). So if it says 5 in the hour line it means a LG 0 character needs 5 hours to produce one finished product.
If you want to calculate the resources needed for you to enroll, you take the resource needed over hours needed times LG modifier. |
Ok, I think this isnt clear yet. I am absolutely sure of: Labourer's guild level(LGL) affects not just wage, but also the productivity. If you have LGL 3 and enroll to production facility, your wage is doubled and you produce 2 steel blades(example). It follows from Facility functioning log.
But I don't know what the number under Units/hour mean, I can't figure it out. |
LGL 3 and enroll to production facility, your wage is doubled and you produce 2 steel blades
Your wage is doubled and your output, which means you produce one steel blade per hour, because it usually (at LG 0) takes 2 hours to produce one.
For the resources this means the facility needs 1 steel (for example) to produce one steel blade, so they need 0.5 steel for a LG 0 character to enroll and 1 steel for a LG 3 character to enroll. |
I just watched the change in production facility and I found that I was wrong.
This by fusei is correct:
"If it says 5 in the hour line it means a LG 0 character needs 5 hours to produce one finished product."
But I think that the resources under "hours required" are exactly what is needed to finish one product.
Example: I watched the Blacksmith of equilibrium. In last hour there worked workers with total productivity 18,1. They made 18,1/12=1,5 products, which corresponds with the change in stock.
To make 1 equilibrium blade are required 7 suplhur, 7 crystals, 4 steel, 2 nickel. So one player LG 0 need 7/12 sulphur and crystals to enroll, 4/12 steel, and 2/12 nickel.
This is how I understand it now. |
Yeah, fusei is all correct. Anyway I will let this topic open for a while. |
But I think that the resources under "hours required" are exactly what is needed to finish one product.
That's what I tried to explain. |
