Lately I have found myself searching through combat logs to get an idea of the difficulty of mercenaries guild quests. It would be a big help if you had a search function, like for the forum. I know you can use the normal browser search (ctrl+F), but if there is 20+ pages it is still a slow process...
For full searching power, a filter on top of the search option would be very nice. Nice filter options could e.g. be your level and the "battle categories" (such as hunt, group battle, etc) and appropriate subfilters for each (for hunt you could filter for number of creatures and maybe also specific creatures or tier).
I would mainly use the filter and search options for determining if a merc quest is doable (for hunt you have the personal records) and how many artifacts is necessary, but I am sure there are other uses for this.
I hope you have time to implement this at some point! |
Good idea. Just looking through my own battle log trying to find some fight from a month ago can be hard, and it would make it easier if I could view just the hunts / ambushes / group battles etc.
It should be easy to make if battles are saved with some indication of battle type. If not, it'd have to figure it out from the battle description...maybe a little harder to create, but still doable. |

| that would be awesome especially if someone else can look thru your log and sort out fights in the same manner for people like me who study how other people do hunts and merc quests so I have knowledge of what to do. |
| i got double digits whooh it would be awesome i was trying to find a battle for a player and it took me about an hour to find it and my log is short |
