The main problem is that hunts are getting more difficult. If you do a hunt with 100 minotaurs the next hunt against minotaurs will be 120 or something like that.<br />
So after a while you will only get red hunts. But since these changes many hunts won't be assisted even if you share money. Don't know how to call it .... a vicious circle?!
At least the assistant part should not lose durability on artifacts or not be forced to wear them. There is really no fun in hunting when you need to pass them all.

Actually it'll be 30% more, so 130 minotaurs.
For all those who are level 8, I will help for FREE. I'm not going to say the hunt gold is so little that it doesn't matter, but I'll be happy if you do happen to decide to share the gold with me.

I think the hunting assist is good for our experience also for our SP and Exps ... this is a good way to level up fast .. for the Skill Points, YES too low .. but at least u get some free SP and Exps ..

I used to pay half for assists all the time,
but rarely got it returned likewise, and that was before the "ap rule".
Now I check transfers logs before I pay.
And thanks to the "ap rule", now I rarely get assist when I ask,

But here is something you could at least do for us,
I like most have a set of minimal hunting arts, and a full set of arts for ambushes and merc quests.
I put on my minimal hunting set and ask for assist on a tough hunt.
I don't get any help, and now have to fight the tough hunt with minimal arts.
I of course don't win.
My point is if I had the opportunity to equip better arts, since my request for help went unanswered, I would have at least stood a chance of winning.

That is exactly what I am thinking about this whole hunting thing.
If they always increase the difficult on a won hunt so they also need to make sure that the next time when the hunt probaly will get to hard we will get assist without first asking and finding someone who is willing to help.
In the past I always got assist when I asked for it...
So here are definetly some things to do to make hunting more attractive.

I will often pursue hunt assists and I don't expect any compensation for my time. At times I'm surprised by a little gold bonus, but its a bonus not a fee.
If I'm calling in the assist I typically don't offer gold to help and to this time no ones gotten sour about it. Should the hunt be rather epic in execution I've shared half the gold gained as the help was really needed. If the hunt is routine I don't really feel the need to share the spoils.
I'm using a bravery medal, steelsword and leather armour for my min arts. I can easily make the difference with a little work placement. My main concern I suppose is getting faction points which pay off in PvP matches. If you don't hunt you don't get FPs and are weaker in combats. The gold thing is so easy to sort out if your not greedy or overachieving. |

Thats right as long as you do not want to start tgi or merc quests. :o)
Of course you have enough money to do some hunting and nothing else if you enroll. But at least level 2 in tgi costs about 100.000 Gold.
But what I really dislike is the hunting increase after a won hunt. Why not using a random factor depending on characters level?! Or at least decreasing creature ammount after a lost battle?!
In the current way you will get stuck with hunts after a while and forced to do group battles, duels, tgi or anything else to achive a new level. I am only level 7 and I realize it that most of my hunts are not doable alone. I need assistance in nearly all hunts to win.
I really hope they will change this nonsense. But I am realistic and as long as not enough people will complain they won't do anything.

i'll tell you my opinion about hunt assists and gold :)
I don't give out gold and I don't care about getting gold I just do assists for fun.You wanna pay me then go ahead.Quit complaining about not getting gold if you assist people.Don't even help out if you're money hungry. |

thats right. i join assist when i have nothing to do, and i never expect any gold for it.
in the other way i will also never pay anyone for giving me an assist.
if you dont want to spend gold then dont assist anyone |

By the middle of lvl 6, I was basically stuck. I had merc lvl 1 and most of my hunts were already at least a few wins beyond !red. I was starting to lose a good number of hunts with assist. Then I started making friends with good players, but by almost to lvl 7 we started to lose those hunts as well. |

Oh I know that hunting is not everything, but at least I think it is a nice way to do a fast battle for fun. But unfortunately there is no fun getting stuck in more and more hunts. :o(

I ran into exactly the same problem at around that level. I just decided to gear up and do hunts solo. I ended up breaking records (and a ton of arts). XD |

it even says in the rules that if you want to send money for someone assisting you in help that that is acceptable. So even the the creation of this game that was already factored in.
I know I can't force people and that this is just a game to be played for fun. My POINT is that people should be appreciative of the help. If you don't want the money then fine, at least the offer was there, if you can't afford to right now fine, it is just something that if everyone did would be a win win situation. And I don't see how I am being greedy if I GIVE money to those who help me(veteran).
ie I don't have to help someone pic up their books at school when they drop them but commen courtesy dictates that I do. In these hard times for people still trying to make due if people helped each other then there wouldnt be heroes stranded for help when they ask for assist. For all of you good samaritans that help and don't require a thank you, thank you. but sometimes its nice to be helped back, even heros need saving sometimes. Now if your the type of person to walk past me when I drop my books then God bless you, I didn't ASK for your HELP anyways. Get it? ASK for HELP?
In this thread is just a fraction of people who have waited long for help, if people were courteous enough to repay favor I garuntee they wouldn't have to wait that long and assist would happen more frequently even for those who are on a tight income in this game. And if hunt are getting more difficult then wouldn't a helping hand be nice? But even in the game people are money concious. And I'm not sour about not getting money either Ophidian, I'm "sour" at how others get "sour".
And in the begining I stated that I did an experiment to see what people would say and frankly I was rather sad at the whole ordeal and thought that commen courtesy was right so I opened this thread expecting others to feel the same, well now I see how truly wrong I was.

| This thing where the hunts don't go down even if you lose is making things very hard for full time hunters like me (I only hunt and mercenary quests). All my hunts these days are red or red! and I only sometimes get the hunt creature that I haven't gone up against much. That's why I assist for free so if anyone needs a lvl 5 free assister add me! :D |

Just wanna ask, if I get 120 gold in hunting and I send all the gold to my helper, is it allowed ?? thx a lot for the answer .. coz Honestly sometimes, my helper died first, but He really fight well and always be brave to kill .. then I just wanna reward him(her) the price (s)He deservers ...
