I read something somwhere (can't find it now) in which someone referred to "creating a job" for yourself in one of the production facilities by supplying resources or something. how would one do this?
In other words the question is how can you create a need for labor in one of the production places? |
selling recorces or buying the item |
either one will create a job? or both? |
either one will create a job? or both?
depends on whats the shortage of that facility, gold or resources, could be both |
if the facility has no money you have to buy its stock until it has enough money to cover your wage. if the facility lacks a resource for production you need to sell that type of resource to the facility (when it has the money to pay for it) so it has the minimum amount needed for production before you will be able to enroll at that facility.
example: there are 27 free posts at the steel plant but not enough money to pay your wage. you buy 1 steel and the facility now has the money to pay your wage.
now lets say you are a sword shop and there is not enough steel to make a sword. you can sell that steel to the sword shop so it has enough to allow you to enroll there for a job.
you don't need to travel to a location to see if its facilities have money/need resources. you can stand in one spot and check all the facilities on the map, you just can't enroll or buy or sell to them unless you are in the same location. |
well then why does it seem like almost all the production facilities have full resources but no money almost same thing goes for machining? |
Because right now there's not enough people buying arts at the production facilities, which leads to not wage for workers at production which leads to full resources. Then full resources leads to no need to buy machining.
And since now you know what's the problem, you can create a job for yourself by just buying from production or machining. |
but that ends up in a net loss... buying an item for 2k gold to get a job for only 200 gold?
true I can sell the item but the market takes 1% commission and you cant sell anything on the market for more than you make... |
