Quoting rule (thanks to Sven91)
https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=27
Created lot cannot be canceled.
>>>>>>>>>The Author cannot take part in Auctions he or she created.<<<<<<
The minimal pace between bids is 1% from current price, but not less than 3 gold pieces. In case of successful Auctions, a 1% commission is withdrawn from the Author. |
Created lot cannot be canceled.
I know that !

So is it a Rule break ? |
12-28-08 18:09: Sold item: "Hauberk" [17/40] for 2790 gold to Zyanya as lot #211605. Commission: 28
12-28-08 18:09: Acquired item: "Hauberk" [17/40] for 2790 gold from Zyanya as lot #211605
I believe these rules are about auctions and not direct sale and authors cannot take part in his own Auctions is just to prevent raising his/her own price by bidding him/herself.
Created lot cannot be canceled.
The Author cannot take part in Auctions he or she created.
The minimal pace between bids is 1% from current price, but not less than 3 gold pieces.
In case of successful Auctions, a 1% commission is withdrawn from the Author.
I have done that few times too without noticing anything bad about it, 1% was a penalty already to me. If it is against the rules I could have a friend to buy the art for me and then I buy it from him back. |
for Omega22:
Same that Kotrin Said. |
07-24-08 09:30: Sold item: "Master hunter shield" [10/10] for 1900 gold to Arctic as lot #31063. Commission: 19
07-24-08 09:30: Acquired item: "Master hunter shield" [10/10] for 1900 gold from Arctic as lot #31063
07-24-08 09:25: Sold item: "Hunter shield" [10/10] for 303 gold to Arctic as lot #31061. Commission: 3
07-24-08 09:25: Acquired item: "Hunter shield" [10/10] for 303 gold from Arctic as lot #31061
...so I really think it is NOT against rules, because I dont know anyone who si more fair and honest than Arctic. |
Sen91 just brought this topic to my attention =)
First of all, https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=27 is a help page describing market functions and has no game rulings listed.
It is indeed impossible to participate in one's own auctions - technically impossible. However in direct sales, a person can buyout his or her own goods to, well, cancel a lot, which is impossible to do without a commision. This is what myself, Zyanya and Alon_doron did. |
So, it is allowed . Then close this topic |
