In my most recent combat against dragons, I only got 5 exp and 0 skill points. Can somebody explain why I get so little?

Even if they mostly killed off each other, if I counted correctly, I did a total of 387 damage to them in total. Surely that should earn me more than 5 exp and 0 skill points? |
Ahh, I waited so long for them and this is all I get? I think an afk-er would get as much as I did.

exp is based on the damage you did
and you barely did any damage :P |
Lol I'm aware of that, that's why I admitted that they mostly killed themselves. But still I did 387 damage by myself which I feel is grossly undermined if I only get 5 exp and NO skill at all.
From my previous fights against dragons, just 2 or 3 days ago, I earned much much more than this, relatively speaking. And that is even though I also lost, and fought worse in my opinion.

There's supposed to be pending updates regarding the ridge of hope, the aftermath of the tournament has yet to be announced, and some major lag has been going on. I wonder if anything has been changed... |
| To be exactly. It is based on the damage you did minus the troops you lose. |
the xp and sp in dragon hunts have been reset recently, the xp and sp penalties are very harsh for a loss.
this is mainly to discourage sp farming. |

It's random. Can be immediately after you enter the area, or you can wait for hours. |
