Just for some future planning, how many do you get in a successful ambush? Is it .5 like hunts, or 1 like laborer's or does it vary like racial pts?
170 total pts seems like a lot... for level 2 |
This is just like yes or no question.
If you win, you get 1 thief point.
If you lose, you get 0 thief point. |
Also, it is 120 points for level 2 not 170. I'm sure its just a typo! |
Indeed. After 50 successful ambushes, you reach TG level 1, and after 70 more successful ambushes (so 120 TOTAL) you reach TG level 2.
It's *not* a lot, in my humble opinion. About three fights won per evening during a month. You get +2% initiative and two thief artifacts along the way... |
I got my TG level 2 in one week :P |
most people can do TG to level 2 in 2 weeks. if you can spend some time to play this, 2 weeks are more than enough. 1 week or less is very possible, if you can win a lot, because when you lose you have to wait 1 hour to set ambush again
i see that you're an elf. IMO, elves have hard time to ambush without EFKs, because your rangers die very easily. so make sure you have a lot of best arts when you ambush |
elves have hard time to ambush without EFKs
Exactly... through personal experience, level 8 is MUCH easier than level 7 for thieving. Oh, and also, make sure you have a lot of best arts when you ambush
;) |
Can you choose who you want to ambush - which is the smallest level you can ambush? |
No you can't choose who to ambush, it's random.
You can ambush from lvl 6 upward, but imo it's best to ambush at combat lvl 7 or 8. |
Thanks for all the replies. i'm gonna start renting when im level 8 |
start at level 6 or 7 in my humble opinion beacause the more your combat level is high, the more npc caravans are hard to kill. You're elve this should be a case of some days. |
I agree with zouris. Caravans are really easy at lv6 even without 2nd upgrade. But you would need a lot of high grade arts and the right recruitment count.
I recommend starting at lv6. |
^^ Then 6 it is ;) |
