a necro with expert dark magic,sp=2
VS a knight with advanced holy magic,sp=2
the necro hero cast curse on crossbowmen, then the knight hero cast bless on the same stack, and when this crossbowmen attack, what exactly effection is on him? |
As I understand it, the last spell cast will have priority reguardless of spell power. So bless will be in effect for the duration of its affect and curse will be canceled out. |
then it's really unfair for the necro hero, becoz he learns expert dark magic but the knight hero only learns advanced level.
is that mean, which hero act later, the better? |
Buff formulas will be changed, probably sooner than later. |
that's what we called as counter spell rather than dispell. sp only determine the duration of spell.
on other word, once the knight bless his troops, you can curse it to cancel the bless and get the curse effect.
ofc, there is only little advantage on the hero act later. you can always use wait button to move later on.
but, it is often happen that it is not big advantage. regard on some talent such as sorcery talent, escort and divine guidance that can effect on the heroes ATB. |
thanks guys, wish the admins correct the formulas soon. :) |
Buff formulas will be changed
what does Buff mean? |

Buff=any and all supporting spells (bless, rapid, stoneskin, chastise ets. |

as we all know, mighty is more powerful than magic in this game, esp. in high lv,
but when we consider the non-chaos magic,i mean the magic that does not attack directly but has some good or bad effection on stacks, they may be very useful when hero get expert-talent lv and with high sp.
so i guess maybe when lords have enough talents-points to learn the magic talent, they are not worse than a mighty-lord anymore.
but this need the surpport of admin,a necro with expert dark magic dose not want the curse eff. (6 turns 4 ex.)easily cancelled by a knight with only basic holy magic using bless(0.5 turn 4 ex.).
that's really disappointing... |
for sry:
Any or all non-supporting spells happen to include spells like magic arrow, earth spikes etc. But they are by no means debuffs. |
that's really disappointing...
It is, isn't it? Like I said, formulas will be changed. |
