Talk about conspirators being a temporary relief, I have hit the xp cap of 4500 xp at level 8 of any conspirator
That doesn't mean you can't still do your conspirator, other merc quests, or hunts. But if you don't feel like wasting the extra xp, you can always wait till you level up so your cap becomes 5000 xp.

You don't buy army. Your army will automatically recover. Look at the upper left corner with the "heart". Once that reaches 100, you can fight.

u can only buy skeletons frm the market..but u dont need 'em as ur elf and skeletons r part of necro's

Not sure but if you were referring to gurumao, her guide was written more than a year ago, there is no edit function and so she can't update the guide. But yes, she does know about the new conspirator missions.
Hi. I recently had a MG quest. I don't know whether it was an army quest or Invaders but I had to clear a necro army in an ore mine.There was 1 death envoy, 14 vampires, 6and 9 vampire counts, 23 5 5 5 skele bowmem, some ghosts and infected zombies(I don't remember their numbers) and I am just lvl 5 .I got only 1 chance and I easily lost. I have never taken any MG quest except a vanguard(I lost! I didn't knew I had to protect the unit, a shrew. It went to attack and died). I though MG quest difficulty increases with the number of successful quests I have done.But it seems that it increases with my level. I have no idea what to do.Plz help.
You are talking about 2 different merc quests.

The first one you described was:
03-29-10 03:40: vishnus[5] vs Necromancers-invaders {0}

The second one with the shrew was:
03-29-10 02:33: vishnus[5] vs Vanguard of Barbarians {0}

Since both quests are {0}, they are the easiest possible ones. For all vanguard quests, you need to protect some unit. Merc quests do not increase difficulty with your level. They only increase in difficulty if you beat them. Next time you fight them they still be {0}.
But are invader quests this much difficult?
I thought it would be easier.
Can you give me any tip on how to beat them?
you won't beat them at level 5 .. i dunno why recommended level for mg quests is 5 cause ime most quests require lv 6 or 7 even at {0}
Conspirator quests are very easy compared to others. Whew.Finally, a victory.
Conspirators quests can be done by a level 2 :)
I think MG quest difficulty level depends on luck too. There can be tough quests at lvl0 and easy ones also. My first quest was a vanguard and enemy was strong with 8 rocs,10*2 orges, 20 wolf raiders etc. But this one was easy-

The difficulty of {0} quests are not the same across the board. Even within the same category such as Army quests. This is because you may be better suited to defeat certain factions over others. Also farmer monster {0} are of course easier than devil monster {0}.

Vanguard of wizard {0} can be won at level 3. While Devil monster {0} would need level 8. But if you compare Vanguard of wizard {0} with Vanguard of wizard {1}, then {1} would always be more difficult. No luck involved.

With this said, half of merc quest{0} types can be beaten at level 5. Most can be beaten by level 6. And all can be beaten by level 8.
Confused, what exactly does the {#} mean?
