I finished a battle with both my troops and the enemy wiped. I think this is a bug but can't be sure. Apparently I got nothing, not even skill points, from this battle (though I'm not sure). And the merc quest is counted as a loss.
Since I have no clue what's happened, maybe experienced players can help me out, or if this is a bug, could the mods move it to bug section please? |

it said : caravan of wizards is defeated
XXX hero is defeated
apparently the caravan fireballed its own troops n the last troop the tat hero |
I've seen it happen before too
But the main point is that he got nothing, not even skill points, from this battle That's the main problem here. He should have recieved at least something... |

It's not the first time when it's happening like that. I've seen this problem only at knights because of the escort talent. Mainly, you are defeated because no troops left. But no enemy troops remained as well. So, the game cannot decide which one is the winner. :)
I am not a knight and I don't want to upset the knights, but I think the escort should cease to exist in the moment the last troop was finished and not after the final blow from the hero. I support this idea because the escort talent should give the hero answer to the attacked allied troops and not "revenging" the dead troops. |
The question left to discuss is: whether I should at least get exp for being defeated or not.
CGSMCMLXXV I have no idea and don't want to discuss the merit of escort here. But thanks for the input. |
