| I believe the harder the quest the more gold. Whenever i get army of barb [18] come up its always 800-1000 gold. |
| The reward has some randomness to it, but the parameters increase for each time you have done that same quest. |

| Doesn't seem to increase by a flat rate. But that could be due to rounding off inconsistency. So it's 17-18%. |
| it mainly depends on the difficulty of the caravan or raid the more gold they offer means its more tough however sometimes certain factions have an advantage over something and they get more gold for easier quests according to their standard |
