Author | Who goes first? |
Hey all,
Has anybody other than me experienced problems after splitting a stack into a few groups of ones and a major group? I try to make the smaller groups go first, to get rid of retal, but it always seems the major group goes first, so really it isn't effective at all. Does anyone have any tips or solutions? |
You could always use thr "Wait" Command...
The order which units with the same Initiative go is random if I'm right. |
Is random which group move first, anyway you can move or defend big group and wait with smallones, in next turn you have the possibility to take retal w small group and hit w big without retal. |

During the first turn of combat, there is a 10% deviation in initiative which means that it is random which unit plays first if two or more stacks got the same initiative. This can also explain why sometimes slower units play first during the first turn of combat ( as long as the initiative difference is lower than 1 , this can occur - the smaller the difference the bigger the possibility. |
sometimes my poisoners (init 13) plays after my lizards (init 11.9)
1 isn't the maximum difference.
i think max difference is 10% of init of the fastest unit:
unit with 7 init can play after 6.3 init
unit with 10 init can play after 9 init
unit with 15 init can play after 13.5 init
... |
Yeah 5 is correct 10% is the maximum difference not 1. |
Thanks for all the help :D |
