Sprites are more useful. Poisoners by themselves are weak as their main purpose is to take away enemy retaliation.
Just choose the faction that you like best. |

Sprites are better than poisoners in the matter that they can attack 3 targets at once without retaliation. Poisoners are better in the matter that they can deal damage a target even after they have died, up to a certain amount of time, depending on the number in the stack.
Each faction is better depending on your fighting style, which only you know so we aren't much of a help for you there. |
Each faction is best , no one is weak or strong just Depends on your Playing style & tactics.
Upgrades of 1st Tier :-
Farmer - Recruit (Increases men)
Skeleton - Skeleton Bowmen - A Archer
Gremlin - Gremlin engineer - A Archer
Farie - Sprit - a better in tier 1
Goblin - Hobgoblin - strongest in tier 1
Bandit - Poiserner - Advantage if a lot , can poison
Imp - Spawn - 2nd strongest after hobgoblin. |
for 2Tears:
Time for poisoning is always 2 turns.
But the damage dealt is the number of poisoners in that stack. |
For me poisoners are not too good .. bandits with 10 init can still efectively take out retal :) .. the problem is that when u level 5 - 7 .. that is the hardest time for DE .. better save money for arts for thievings .. better avoid the griffins or anything related on "UNLIMITED RETALIATIONS" .. that will be a great disadvantage for u :)
to change : better change to barbarians or knights ... Barbarians strong coz they have many troops with much damages :) --> Hobgoblins is a MUST, for KNights : a lot of troops and u have the striker, griffins --> ALWAYS upgrade all military buildings coz will add ur tier - 1,2 and 3 of ur troops by 5% :) |
So Randhy are you trying to tell him to save money or waste money? =.=
DE is definately better after shrews so don't waste moeny on switching just for 2 levels. It would still be difficult to start on Faction level 0. |
