I might be making another post, about another matter entirely, but first thing is first.
I contacted Kotrin about a problem, and came to the conclusion that it wasn't going anywhere. So with a clan mate's permission I will discuss that further in the general game forum, detailing the problem. My mate can make a formal CaA if he wishes on that later as is his right, or I might, pro bono. I need to talk to Arctic as to the proper protocol on that since he hasn't been online for close to a month now, and I don't want to waste the admin's time.
Which leads us to here. In that conversation with Kotrin he blocked me after I said I had wasted my time.
Here is the problem with that action:
1. I am an active member of this gaming community, and have important things to say about it because I am here so much. Whether he likes what I have to say, or not is irrelevant, so long as it is on subject and within the game's rules.
2. Kotrin receives a monthly gold salary from lords to moderate the forums, and associated with that duty, comes the responsibility of accepting messages from people having questions about his decisions or comments on them (since they are 'official' and not just from the player Kotrin, but rather from the forum moderator Kotrin).
In any case, Kotrin has shown his inability to separate his personal feelings with his responsibilities in game with this action.
So in order for Kotrin to be able to perform his duties as a Forum Moderator, he cannot have anyone blacklisted because "he belongs" to the community so long as he is receiving a monthly stipend.
I eagerly await to hear what the Administration has to say about this when they return, so that other moderators have a standard to follow when it comes to such situations.

So we'll see if this reaches the immediate attention of the admins when they return. It isn't a big deal, it can easily be remedied by the administration stating a clearer guideline for moderators to follow that the public can also view.
Here in my country (USA) we know exactly what the Police/Authorities are allowed, or not allowed, to do. Problem is most people don't care.
I am one that does care, the more we know about those that are here to help us, the more helpful we can be to them as well.
