Well, from what I know, each creature has a certain XP amount, this is then multiplied by a factor based on your AP worn.

If more than 1 person is fighting on a side, the exp is split based on % of damage dealt compared to the other people.

If you are on the losing side, you get a fraction of the xp of what you have killed

If you AFK, you get nothing.

this is then multiplied by a factor based on your AP worn

Also it is multiplied by a factor based on AP of your enemy. More arts enemy wears more you get..sometimes I feel it depends much more on enemy`s AP than yours.
