ok, that shows you the list of factories that NEED wood (Purchasing "Wood"). Those factories that are in need will have a value above 0 under "Demands". That's the number of wood they want to buy
You must then travel to the location with that factory and enter the factory
You will see below the part where you BUY resources, a section called "Required for production per unit", under the section "Purchase" there will be a place where you can enter a number and a ">>" button to start the sale.
If the factory doesn't have the place to enter the number, either the factory doesn't have enough gold to buy the resource from you, or someone beat to to it and sold wood to the factory already. Remember, there's a limited demand.
