Enchanments :)

I need to enchant my Mithril, but before I am gonna ask :

1. Is the enchanments affect only my hero, or hero and troops or just troops ??
2. Total damage calculations ?? the formula ??
3. What is the best enchant combinations for my longsword in 4 modifs ??

1) Weapon enchantments deal extra damage with elemental magic or ignores target's defense.
Armour Enchantment protects you from elemental damage, or decrease enemy creature's Attack parameter. Protecting from elemental includes resistance to spells, like Earthen Spikes or Magic arrow and Lightning
Jewel enchantments fortify spells used by your hero and creatures and also grant piercing through magic shield (both natural and of Enchantment origin)

2) 10% damage = 10% damage, 20% resist = 20% resist, etc
4x10% damage = 1-(1-0.1)(1-0.1)(1-0.1)(1-0.1) = 34.4% damage
3x20% protection = 1-(1-0.8)(1-0.8)(1-0.8) = 48.8% protection

3) In my opinion, E10W10A10I10. But it's arguable based on who you usually fight

1 - the answer is 'you deal extra damage both by troops and by hero's non-magical attack'.
2 - there is a difference between 10 earth+10earth and 10 earth + 10 air (or anything else).
10 earth + 10 earth mean 19% extra damage by earth magic; 10 earth + 10 air mean 20% extra damage.

If you want to fight PvE, then the cheapest reasonable craft is the best.
If you want to fight PvE for records etc., then E10W10A10F10.
If you want to fight PvP, then the cheapest reasonable craft is the best.
If you want to fight PvE and kill 'em all, then E10W10A10I10.

Something like that.
Why not F10 ??

I am still confused, whether the A10 will increase my hero's lightning and magic arrow.

is F10 will give SUCCUBIS more damages ?? I am still blind in this area .. plzz explain me more :)

An A10 weapon only increases non-magical attack damage by adding extra damage that is elemental in nature (meaning anyone resistant or immune to it is not affected)

An A20 Shield will give you 20% resistance against air spells

A A20 Jewellery will give you 20% more spell damage with air spells and allows you to ignore 10% of earth protection

With a E10, your Succubi who normally deal, say, 100 damage, will deal 100 normal damage and 10 points Earth Damage

With a W10, your Succubi who normally deal, say, 100 damage, will deal 100 normal damage and 10 points Water Damage.
