only enchanted one effective.
thief set is "one wave attack", it can make you go first, but the low def make you dying fast, so you need more attack. Enchanted arts is nice for add more attack. |

I have tried, very effective .. See "HEART", always in full thieve .. He is the ambushed one, not the thieve .. and won .. :)
My asumption : The thieve always has the most advtgs than the ambushed one, then Thieve set is great in ambush .. :) |
An enchanted thief set for DE is pretty good. I like it when my shrews hit twice before the caravan moves.
For knights, I think the regular level 9/10 arts are better, but certain pieces can be substitued by thief arts such as the rings, amulet, cloak, dagger. |

I have a full thief set because I can...lol
I wasn't sure what was the best set of arts to have so just bought the most expensive set I could as I have far more gold than I need at the moment. I only use it for the difficult hunts and it has served me well even though the attack and defence are relatively poor. The plus side is the initiative and extra speed as I get a lot more attacks in and can run round the board like a little baby if it looks like it might get a little tricky then use my hero to see off the last attackers....lol
Tried to get a full set with loads of arts but no one was selling any so have had to go with a basic set which still cost me 300k+....DOH!!!....lol |

| yes it's effective because it gives +1 to your shooting range, so archers from corner can reach middle large creature with full arrow, anyway crossbow and dagger should be enchanted |
On level 6 Thief set is GODLY. It lets you attack with incredible speed, and +1 movement allows even slow troops to run through the board (Minos, Ogres, Golems...)
On level 7-8, good artifacts are now available; the Thief set is still very useful, but being full arts yields more resistance.
On level 9+, the gap between shop artifacts and thief one increases. The Rings and the Amulet are still good choices, and the Dagger if you can have it enchanted, but I would not advise wearing a full thief set anymore. It means you have to forget about this nice +1 speed too.
But from time to time,wearing a full thief set is much fun :) |
