AuthorSwine Flu
this is going to be like so many things i cant even start to name them
These are predictions of merlin the sorcerer and of other people of his time about the worlds end.

Erm, no... sorry bud. You're entirely wrong here.

The 2012 Doomsday theory is based on when the Mayan calender ends.
for ipslne: that's where they got the date BUT the predictions of what it would be like came from merlin and other people like him
it's gonna spread to more countries
Hay guys I got Madagascar!
lol nice
don't let yourself be made paranoid. the chance to die by leavin' the house and get into a car crash is statisticaly x-times higher than to catch this piggy-stuff...

enjoy life and don't get to hysterical when media, lobbies and politics iresponsably use another chance to invoke fear, sell more or distract from their terrible mistakes...

when death comes - it comes! but don't waste your life in fear of it...

BUT: just because you're NOT paranoid it DOESN'T mean they are not after you...
for Pantheon: but these those were all predictions that even happened. And they are becoming true and lining up and a nuclear war would make sense with all of this nuclear tension between countries.

I'm not saying I believe it but it is freaky and true

For hockeymaniac: According to the "predictions" made by people since the beginning, it's all nonsense. The world has already ended a million times according to them. So unless you are going to argue that we are all already dead, time travel, or all this fake.......

I agree. Worst yet is if your fear hastens or causes your death.
well...its not the disease i was expecting...like aeroslied bubonic plague, but this will do...
Well this is turning out like a game i played..In which you create a disease and spread it among the world
for Pantheon: no it hasn't. The predictions are happening right now. A few could correspond to the past but they all are true right now

Was it a flash website based one? I forgot the name or the link, but I played one where you get to pick different types of diseases (i think 3-4 kinds) then evolve its attributes.

There are predictions for the end of the world pretty much for every single year. And guess what? The world survived the last 5000 doomsday predictions already.
#31 the game is called pandemic(,,,)
#27 is completely right
All these predictions are made to think just exactly that way.You wouldn't believe a prediction that said that the world will be destroyed when the red one eyed, one armed and one legged monkey of doom attacks the 3-headed hydra.
I bet they hired people just to tell them what they will think after telling them their prediction.
Hay guys I got Madagascar!

All of these are related. And no, I didn't start in Madagascar :D
The Geneva-based World Health Organization on Wednesday raised its alert level for the fast-spreading swine flu to its next-to-highest notch, signaling a global pandemic could be imminent.

The move came after the virus spread to at least 10 U.S. states from coast to coast and swept deeper into Europe.

"It really is all of humanity that is under threat during a pandemic," said WHO Director General Margaret Chan. "We do not have all the answers right now but we will get them."

In the United States, President Barack Obama mourned the first U.S. death, a Mexican toddler who had traveled with his family to Texas. Total American cases surged to nearly 100, and Obama said wider school closings might be necessary.

the game is called Pandemic
Time for the terrorists to weaponize swine flu and create their own Pandemic to infect the world including Madagascar.
From Egypt's order that all 300,000 pigs in the country be slaughtered to travel bans and putting the kibosh on kissing, the world is taking drastic _ and some say debatable _ measures to combat swine flu.

Egypt ordered the pig slaughter even though there hasn't been a single case of swine flu there and no evidence that pigs have spread the disease. Britain, with only five cases, is trying to buy 32 million masks. And in the United States, President Barack Obama said more of the country's 132,000 schools may have to be shuttered.

At airports from Japan to South Korea to Greece and Turkey, thermal cameras were trained on airline passengers to see if any were feverish. And Lebanon discouraged traditional Arab peck-on-the-cheek greetings, even though no one has come down with the virus there.

All this and more, even though world health experts say many of these measures may not stop the disease from spreading. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization raised its pandemic alert to the second-highest level, meaning it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent.
32 million masks.

they say masks dont help with this virus because the virus is so small that it can get threw the mask and that it is better just to buy hand sanatizer according to NBC news
