Are you sure of this? Believe me, I have nothing agaist you, I only want to help you think a little about what you say. I'd really like if things should go like you say! ;-)
This is an international comunity. Do you really think that today over the world the "mankind" has got is "right" to live a life? Tell this to any african if you can find anyone here... They don't even have water.
I think that the better way to fight against fascism is to help mankind to get knowledge and culture, to remember our story to avoid making the same mistakes again. So a public holiday is a good thing, but today we are risking to lose the war our granfathers won. Today fascism is strong again in many countries like mine.
So welcome a days to remember, but we haven't won yet. We shall continue the fight! |

That said, I fully agree with TS. We remember, we won't forget.
Granted, things aren't all that well in the world as Vonemar pointed out, but it makes history all the more important imo. |
