Hi all,
Thanks to Straws and Vonemar for the links in the other thread. I more or less understand the rules now. But after reading the links, I have a few Qs.
Since the ONLY reason I have in creating the additional character is to play with my frens who are at a lower combat levels, I like to clarify some of the following:
3.13.3. Additional characters are not allowed to transfer items for repairing or enchanting.
3.13.6. Additional characters are not allowed to buy, trade or exchange rare set artifacts and Thieves' Guild invitations(TGIs).
1) Since the purpose is to play with my frens against other players, wouldn't my additional character be at a disadvantage if I can't enchant my weapons?
2a) My main character have not reach the lvl involving thief invitation yet, but I have read it's pretty important for higher level advancement. The fact that I can't BUY a thief invite would means once again, I would be at a (huge?) disadvantage when fighting against my opponents right?
2b) I don't seem to see any mention of renting a Thief invite, is this allowed then? since I can't buy one?

You can enchant your weapons with your own weapoons and by yourself.
Your add can buy TGI for Diamonds. | You can enchant your weapons with your own weapoons and by yourself.

Ohh.. so we can enchant our own weapons. Cool.. haven't reach that level yet so didn't know that. haha..
So u can buy TGI with diamonds? Hmm. I thought rule 3.13.6. says you can't buy TGIs. Thanks for clearing that up, sry. :)
PS: For a poor guy like me, they should amend the rule just a little so additional (ACs) characters can rent from admins/mods, this way, we can ACs can rent TGIs and the admins/mods knows for sure no 'hanky-panky' is going on. Besides, additional income for the hard-working admins/mods. Win-win situation! :p | You're level 5. I don't think your friends of lower levels will use enchanted weapons.
Read the rules again.
3.13.1. Additional characters are not allowed to loan, lend or borrow any game valuables.
Purpose of extrachars is to familiarise yourself with other factions - TGI is not requred for that. But your extra can get into TG for diamonds. | for Jedi-Knight:
sry's wording isn't quite right. You don't buy TGI for diamonds - you enter TG. There's a difference between two. | You don't buy TGI for diamonds - you enter TG.
Hmm.. I just saw the rules to enter:
Thieves' Guild is a limited organization for players of level 6 or higher. We do not inform the first person we meet about the routes of trade caravans.
To enter, you will need either a thief invitation, or to pay the membership fee. Diamond: 80
So basically, a AC can't get a TGI or have anything to do with thief guild, unless he spends real cash... That kidda ermm.. 'suxx'. haha.. Huge disadvantage for ACs in higher level battles, no? :/

Yes, loan/lend = rent. No, it's not allowed.

You have your main for fun stuff. Your multi are for familiarising yourself with other factions - they aren't ment to offer full gaming expirience. | just for my personal knowledge:
If my AC have the gold (just do jobs and hunts 24/7 like my main character. haha.. ), what is the rational behind the rule that the AC can't buy a TGI?
As long as the TGI is used SOLELY by AC, and AC is not allowed to rent, sell, trade, transfer etc to any other player, no one can take advantage and the AC can play on an even playing field with other characters in battles, right? | Opps, sorry, I was typing my last post (#7), when you posted your reply, Shebali. :p
K, don't like it, but I got it. :)
PS: Would still like to know the rational behind that rule, as asked in #8.
