Here's a newbie question...why am I getting destroyed? I can win most battles with neutral creatures but when it comes to a duel I get wrecked every time. As part of the game intro you are supposed to start a duel and win it, but I have dueled a bunch of people who are my level and I always loose.
I am new to the game, but I am not a horrible tactician or anything. What do you have to do to get ahead in this game? Right now it just seems like I will have to keep hunting in order to level up. |

Other than that, I would recommend that you bring more forest keepers and less faeries. You can do that by clicking on the "recruiting" link and moving the slider bar for the faeries up so that you're not carrying any and moving the other down so that you are carrying more keepers.

For lvl 1 elf, you should duel with lvl 1 elf, dark elf and maybe wizard.
Try to avoid other faction until you are lvl 3. |

| simple, you have more faries than forest keepers. faries are always a better choice |

First Mistake - Your recruiting, you have 11 Faeries & 10 Forest Keepers, With this recruiting you can never win duels, keep 5 faeries & 14 Forest Keepers, Then try some duels.
In the fight - https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=479007727<=-1[Full] [Chat] with Adilelf, you moved your forest keepers so front, wait until the enmy comes near you, don't go near them.
In the Fight - https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=478964729<=-1[Full] [Chat] with Lyndwyn, Same mistake you moved your faeries & forest keepers so front, avoid playing with dark elfs i suggest thier rogues are powerful.

I think this fights will show you your mistakes, first chance your recruiting, faeries HP is very less so keep more Forest Keepers. |

lvl1+2 is bad for elf they dont win much
lvl3+4 u get bowman and then u start to get good
lvl5+6 u get druids. By lvl5 and 6 elfs are one of the strongest duel factions |
As #9 said, Elves start up weak, then they get really strong at level 6 with EFK diamond upgrade, or just a decent faction without them.
Then at level 8 they get very strong.
I'd say that their strength drops considerably level 10+ though when compared to most of the other factions for PVP. But PVM they are one of the best all the way through. |
faries may be weaker than fks but i think since they had a wide attack lots of initiative and no retal
they r better
i would use more fairies than fks |
