well good for him, but i hope you're not trying to compare necro and DE in TG :D
'cause my ambush costs me 500 gp. i don't even wear rings.. all of my arts are available at level 7 and i use defender shield.. o, yeah, i am also very enchanted, +3% earth damage :D |
Well, I'm probably in 1 of the least strong faction (knight), but I more or less already knew DE was gonna 'rule' the game after looking at the Top list and the forums.
My point is - If it becomes so lob-sided in favor of 1 faction (or 2 if you MUST include Elf), then what fun would this game be anymore? Coz I think most people would PREFER to play against other players and pits their skills, tactics and strategies against others, not some AI. If I wanna play against AI, I might as well log off this game, and play my PS3 or XBOX.
If this goes on, we'll end up having 5-6 DEs in most 3v3 PvPs most of the time. This thread makes for sad reading. SIGH.... |

There is. Get high DE faction level and then fight them using another faction. |
for Jedi-Knight: They rule the game in hunting, but at PvP .. I think knights are the best .. :)

lol, i was bored when i played necro. not true that it's not challenging for DE. especially in PvP, where DE is not too good compared to wiz, necro or knight.. or elf.. or demon.. or barb! :D
but progress is much greater for DE (and still very interesting), 'cause on level 9 they can get 4500 xp in hunt with white circle o_O
so, there's just no mazochism involved for DE.. and that's all :D
btw, on my opinion, demon rules this great game :P |
If you think DE ( or elf ) is really good in PvP go check how many DEs win PvP tournaments at high level on .ru :) [ a lot of tournaments there so easier to get better data ].
As it has been said a lot of times, the game is generally balanced. If a faction is good on some field, then expect it to suck on another. |

| I think that at low levels elf faction is the stronghest of all race. They have very strong creatures in a good number. |
for DE it is easy to progress. a lot of xp in hunts, ambushes etc. i gave up my main necro character 'cause i would need months to collect enough money to - switch to dark elf :D
my multi already had all the DE buildings, so i just continued to play with her.
and now from first hand i can say that this game is just not fair. necro struggles.. knight too i guess. wizard - never enough money..
only DE can progress so easily. i get white circles in hunt all the time. i win more than 80% ambushes. i can move around on the map with full arts and spoil other people's ambush (to get literally free xp)

if any necro can show me his 5 battles in 1 hour on 9th level, i will admit that i am wrong, but i doubt it.
I remember almost year ago when i was lvl 5-6 none played DE its was pretty much just LEVY, me and Kiskoko. DE percentage was around 7% lowest of all faction. |

Wrong knight is 1 of best faction ingame especialy after geting xbow,guardians and divebombers. :P |
| I think a better statistic would be to look at the faction that the player has more points in. Most of the other factions tend to change to DE when they want to level up their TG lvl (that's why I'm DE right now). If you look at the person's main faction, you would see a lot fewer DE's than 36 in the top 100. |

it's cause this server runs only for one year and most of DE's are switched on later levels so it's natural that faction skill level is low |
its nearly impossible to doing TG in higher lvl with any other faction
being a DE is the best way for TG purpose |

DE is best for TG no doubt abt it. But i wouldnt call it impossible for other factions as im killing caravans as demon without full arts set.:) |
