What determines which player goes first in a Group Battle. I'm an Elf & should have good speed & initiative but whenever I'm in a Group Battle with another Elf on the opposing side, they always go first & take out my Bowmen before they get a chance to shoot. :-(
What can I do to improve my army's speed so I can go first at least some of the time in Group Battles? |

| That only helps my Character get Initiative, not my Troops. I need to know how to get my Troops to strike first. |

It determines which troops goes first and recieve turns more often, they ARE for your TROOPS NOT your HERO. |

it's exactly the other way round - arts increase your troops - but NOT your heros initiative. There are two exeptions: bonus from full thiefset and the master hunter ring of dexterity. |

| Ring of abdication is best for elf as long as you have good defense arts |
Adding to what #11 was suggesting:
Thief Ring is much better for elf than Ring of Abdication...same initiative boost without the -1 Def :) |
