Since you got att/def mini arts on gargoyle and you got enchanted ones, you would be a lot better off with sword of might instead of combat staff. Staff of power is better but way too expensive to be worth it.
Anyway regarding the fight i saw few mistakes:
1) You did through shot hitting 2 hydras with magi at some point doing 11 damage to both of them, when a punch would be 32 damage ( 10 more ).
2) You started hitting hydras first and lizards after. That is big mistake. You can run away with garg from hydras rather easily - while lizards do a lot more damage ( and their charge also ignores your massive defense ). Next time kill lizards first and all will go better :)
3) At some point you exposed your gargoyle to a lizard charge without any reason for this. Lost almost all golems to the charge and the free hit lizards got when hydras hit after. You should use hydras as cover better :)

I think you should read the first page to see how's jabbar's suggestion on wizard. this is very important for you if you want to make your thief life as wizard easier. :) |

I plan to start thieving soon as a wizard. I won't have enough money to switch faction at the moment so yeah.
Anyway I'm wondering which artifacts would be best for me to use for thieving.
Just so you know all my creatures (except golems) have +2 luck and I will have a 10%x4 SoM soon. |

Finally got my TG2. A huge thanks to Jabbar for guidance here and to smart0eddie for the tip to be more aggresive with my gargs.
Amazing as a wizard I had a streak towards reaching TG2 of 13 of 14 caravans I won in a row. Thanks to all guys here for tips and support. |
