Poison and Poisoner Queries

AuthorPoison and Poisoner Queries
1. If Poisoners hit with luck is the continuous poison damage doubled?

2. If a unit is hit bt multiple poison sources eg Poisoner Stack (1), Poisoner stack (12), and Poison Spell, does the cumulative damage from the 3 sources stack? If not, how does the ongoing damage work?

3. From a spell the effects of poison can theoretically last up to 5 rounds. If an elven stack is killed and then Raised is it possible that the poison spell that killed them still be in effect?

For locking purposes I may have some supplemental questions.

Cheers
1) Nope.
2) No, they do not stack. The more potent poison would overwrite the previous poison. If it is not more potent, the existent poison is not overwritten. Potency is damage per turn. A less potent poison with longer duration does not overwrite too, I think.
3) I don't think so. All positive buffs and negative effects (including poison) disappear with the dying stack.
1) i dont think so i think its still based on the number of poisoners in the stack

2) i dont think its cumulative, i think the more recent poisoning overwrites the previous poisoning, eg poisoner (1) gives 1 pt, then it is over written by poisoner (12) then that is over written by the poison spell.

3) i think the elven stack that is raised can still be affected, but it would depend on the duration of the spell when first cast of when the poisoner first hit them, it may have already past

dont know if i got all of them right but this is my sense of what poisoning does
3. I'm not sure about poison, but I know that disruption is still in effect after death.
question 4. Can Dominion of Pain and Elemental Call be used together with a Poison Spell?

My first 3 questions must be quite good as I am getting some conflicting answers. However I do appreciate the comments people have made.

Cheers
sorry not too good with the links

but here is a battle of brilliant's where the genies were still poisoned after being raised, if you look at his genies after he raises them but before being hit by the poisoners again, you will see that they are still poisoned, i think it works the same way for elven bowmen

for qn 4

i dont think elemental call can be used with dominion of pain
That is a good find Seleucus

Thanks

5. Can anyone confirm or deny that Elemental Call will only work with chaos magic, or will it work with any elemental damaging spell?

Cheers
I poisoners kill 1 HP of ur target with poison .. :) then if u have 20 Poisoners shoot a target, then 20 HPs will be reduced every time the target begins turns .. :)
only chaos magic
Seleucus

I have just watched that battle and it was inconclusive about the raising.

sorry for the double post, but i think they bove link might be clearer?
Seleucus

Thank you. That was conclusive. It is confirmed that Poison can still be in effect after a stack has been killed. Observe the Master Bowmen in Seleucus' link.

Ok so we know

1. Luck does not double ongoing poison damage from Poisoners

2. Poison sources don't stack. Answer still unlcear regarding what is the ongoing damage if poisoned from multiple sources.

3. We can confirm that if a living unit has been poisoned, dies and then is raised, any outstanding ongoing poison damage will still occur.

4. Elemental Call can not be used with the Poison Spell. This makes me feel very sad.

5. Elemental Call only works with Chaos spells.

I am still looking for a complete answer regarding Question 2, or if they have evidence one or more of the other conclusions is incorrect.

Cheers
For 2 : Only the highest poison damage done will be counted and will overcome other poson damages and also poison doesn't stack
Thank you Sry.

And thank you everyone else.

Cheers
