| hey if i take the lvl 1 light or dark magic talent, do i have the spells? or do i have to build the magic alter building also ? what if i only build the alter?? what about knight skills that give mass rapid or stoneskin in offense/defense talents? do i still need expert/advanced magic? | you get the 1st level holy and darkness spells namely : Delay, curse, rapid and bless after you build Magic Guild 1 from castle.
however you do need 1 knowlegde = 10 mana to use spells. i see that's what you are missing.
you don't have to take up basic holy or darkness talents to use them.
the talents make your spells stronger.

also basic talents are needed to access 3rd level spells in lv10 onwards.
if you take the mass rapid or stoneskin talent, you need not have basic holy talent. | | sorry for the double post, i'll suggest you build the griffin building before building the magic guild 1. griffs are more important than magic at your level. | | yeah i was saving my point to see if i could grab a knowledge and not need to spend the talent. |
