Ok, now that u peps have more pr less convinced me that thieving is the way to go at my level, can someone be so kind as to point me to the cheapest TGI rental available?
I know I'm supposed to look in clans and all, but there are literally HUNDREDS of clans, and I really dun wanna click on each and every clan separately to check to see which one offers the cheapest TGI rental.
If it's against the rules, or whatever to post here, please kindly mail me.
PS: It doesn't even have to be a clan, anyone who does TGI rental at a cheap rate can also mail me.

You will reach lvl 8 before TG 2. And without monks and x-bow, you have no chances to succed in ambush at lvl 8.
Plan your gold income wisely. Imo you should gather some more gold before starting TG.
About Merc guild, I found it to be even more profitable than hunter guild.
You can reach MG 2 easely at level 7 with min ap.
Selling elements from merc guild is what allowed me to start thieving on lvl 6. | well you should've started thieving @ lvl 6 , but lv7 is not so bad either i guess
on thieving you get gold + exp + fsp = getting rich + getting lvl8 & x bows & monks + increasing your FSP :)

i think that he wont get lv8 ... cuz i got some 70k exp on lv6 from thieving ( & i went beyond 120 Thief points ) he couldn't get over 150k exp from 120 ambushes ( cuz not all are pvp )
& later when he has the benefits he can get lv2 MG & till then probably lv8 for sure :) | As you said, it depends on luck. I got quite a lot of player ambushes.
Starting late lvl 6, i reached TG2 With just a few xp left to lvl 8.
Maybe i was lucky to get so many players.
Another point is you get way more xp from players on lvl 7 because of fort.
It also depends a lot on succes rate.
If you lose, you get xp without increasing TG. Aditionally, you have to wait an hour for next ambush. In this time i was doing hunts/merc quest (even more xp).
Maybe i'm wrong, but i would check some combats log to see how much xp a lvl 7 knight gather. |
