| Author | Who is 'Empire' & 'Administration'? |

Hi all,
With the recent (to a newbie like me anyway) threads where a minority of players have expressed their displeasure, I went over to the Official Announcements section of the forums to see when the last announcement by someone of authority was made.
To my surprise, announcements were made by 'Empire' and 'Administration' as recent as May.
As I don't wanna be all excited over nothing - As 'Empire' & 'Administration' can actually be just 1 of our mods, I thought I would ask who these accounts actually are. If they are indeed people of authority, then I don't see what the fuss and 'ranting' are all about..... (?)
So can someone shed some light as to who these people are? It is also good info for newbies like myself who joined the site only in the past months.
Lastly, if those RECENT messages are anything to go by, I can see good things coming (soon?) to this game! Here's an excerpt from 1 of the post by Administration:

I was just kidding about the ban (Lot of people send all their stuff to Empire after quitting, so it was just a bit of humor.
Anyway, it isn't one person to my knowledge. Probably just another admin--or group of them--that log on from time to time to check up on things like making sure the facilities are somewhat working, check up on the local economy of the server, etc. |

Empire and Administration are official characters controlled by the admins. that's all there is to it.

Ermm.. But i read on many threads that there's this Arctic, who's an admin too? And when he posted that he's going on 'vacation' or something, a lot of people were 'disappointed' but wished him luck?
So Arctic is not admin?

| If I'm not mistaken, there is also a "new" admin in this game, Lexa. I think she is an admin on the Russian server who is also helping out over here now. |
Arctic is a player, moderator and a friend of the admins.
also Lexa isn't new, he has been around since a looooong time, only that he's back after a break. |

Arctic is sort of a "liason" between the Russian-speaking admins and our game community here. He helped the Admins translate the content of the game from Russian to English.

Hmm.. I heard of Arctic [mainly thru others who talked (good) about him}, but until this thread and posts #7 & #11, have never heard of Alexander, Maxim or Lexa.
My point to all reading this thread (esp those that are painting a picture about this site as all doom and gloom) is that there are announcements and events (although too little according to some of you) as recent as last month (!?).
But coz I'm new, I just wanted to make sure I don't jump the gun, and thus had to ask who ('Empire' & 'Administration') was/were actually behind those announcements.
So if Empire and Administration are official characters controlled by the admins., then the admins are still 'around' and there's ... hope, yes? :)
Also, I read on another thread that all the mods and whoever are paid (I assume with real money. :p) promptly and on time. - That, to me, is an indication (who would keep paying real cash if they are no longer in something?) that the powers-to-be is not 'neglecting' this site. Maybe like some have said, they are other reasons why updates are slowly than some of us are expecting. :) |

stop assuming things please, go through the empire logs or the logs of mods. we get paid with in-game gold only. about 30k per month. those who are more than one mod clan get paid a bit more. |
