0.5 turn

Author0.5 turn
Hi all,

I'm kidda new to all this magic stuff, and when I cast a spell in battle, I see it's for '0.5' turn.

I know 1 turn is calculated by the Hero turn on the ATB scale.

But how can u calculate EXACTLY when a '0.5 turn' ends??

Example: I bless my xbows, and my xbows' turn was like 6-7 boxes away in the ATB scale. How to tell if my xbows is within the 0.5 turn?

Thanks in advance. :)

if you can see your hero's turn next, you can gauge how much 1/2turn is, but otherwise cast only when Xbows are like 1 or 2 tiles from hero.

best way is to get 1/2 spell power though
hover ur mouse over the wait button where ur heroes face pops up (if it is that close) that is .5 turns

agree!
if your xbow is before the "waiting" hero, bless it. if not, wait your hero, and bless later:)

Hiya, Mr Enchanter. :)

haha.. by that time, the bodyguards surrounding my xbows would have been breached already, and my xbows wouldn't be able to shoot (!) :p

Sigh... guess I have to sacrifice ANOTHER parameter point to SP..
for Jedi-Knight:
It';s hard to gauge 0.5 since there would be many creatures in between and no obvious point.

The best way is for you to check the timer by Ctrl-clicking twice the Xbows after you bless them to see the countdown counter on the Effects.
Just to be sure you will still have that "bless", your x-bow shouldn't be more than 5 tiles from hero. Many times it happened to me that every stack after my hero decreased by 0.1 the duration of the spell. I always cast only if I am no further than 5 stacks from my hero with my troop (or if I know that the opponent will attack my troop within those 5 stacks turns).
