Grandmaster bowmen suffer from poisoning, -287 hit points. 6 perish.
Whole stack is now dead.

oh I guess not :p
Lesson learned - if you have a stack that completely dies, which is poisoned, if you raise it, it will STILL be poisoned, don't fall into the same trap I did :P |
show me the battle page plz... |

I find that surprising. In the original game, a completely destroyed stack (as opposed to a stack that has some units remaining) that is raised loses all magical effects, both beneficial and detrimental. |
lol funny battle... |
O_O |
I did that in the middle of the last tourney... Raised my Genies which died almost instantly again :( |
i knew this lol |
You need to wait for the full duration effects before it disappears. Poison transcends death. :) Just think of it as the doctor finding poison in your body after you die. |
Spells last for their duration REGARDLESS of whether the stack dies and is resurrected. |

Apart that poison is not a magical effect :) |
but resurrection still allow revived stack carry the buff over |
shouldn't their newly undead status render them immune to poison anyway? |

No it says in "About the game" in the subtopic "spells" on "Raise dead" A raised stack does not take the properties of undead. (meaning it can be poisoned.)
it becomes the walking dead NOT undead. |
happened to me too with my elven -_- |
yes, but, poison can be removed with a dispersion spell, thus you can avoid loosing your GBM at all ;)
(as long as your hero can cast it AND has his turn before they die..^^') |
And vampires feed from raised bodies as well! So "Raise Dead" works like resurrection except the negative effects (morale loss on fellow troops + %40 HP loss) |
true, so raising for a non-necro is really a last resort, as part of a well timed final stand. Also you're playing with fire as a negative morale trigger at the wrong time will rob you of victory for sure. |
