yes. they are excellent retail takers for lizards. poisoners' base initiative is 12, lizards' 11.
for now, rogues can do the work for you, but as soon as you get shrews, poisoners are irreplaceable :) |

Depends, most people put them in stacks of 1 to take retal so that the lizards or even minos can attack without taking damage and doing 1 poison damage (which helps...)
But against enemies that have unlimited retal, maybe grouping them together to do more poison damage may help?
