Author | hunt or hunt assist ? |
If you dont care about the speed of your lvling, would it be better to ALWAYS ask for assistance in hunts?
Idea behind this:
The hunts grow slower, so you can hunt longer, and on even higher lvls you may still be able to do hunts when others only got "impossible" ones.
So the question here is: Will the total amount of xp/fsp gained from hunting be higher in total than with solo hunting as long as possible? | Will the total amount of xp/fsp gained from hunting be higher in total than with solo hunting as long as possible?
actually there wont be much difference, as the growth is in proportion with the faction skill point the hunter gained, while exp is also in proportion with the skill point but is affected by AP
The amount of growth in case of victory: N=n*1.69^f
n = original amount in hunt
N = new amount next time
f = factions skill points that the main hunter gained during the hunt | Correct me if I'm wrong, but with assists, say you split everything evenly, you may get less
If you get X exp for a solo hunt and 1.3X exp for the next hunt (Assuming 30% more enemies ==> 30% more exp) You get 2 HG and 1fsp
If you do assists and all split evenly, you will need 3 hunts to get the same level of enemies as 2 solo hunts, 0.5X, 0.57X and 0.65X = 1.72X, you will get 1.5HG and .75 Fsp..
I admit I do not have the assist increases and splits memorised, so I could be wrong | It's really the same.
1. The amount of monsters for the next hunt is proportional with the fsp gotten in that hunt.
2. The total experience is proportional with the amount of monsters you get and with the arts.
3. The amount of guild points is proportional with the fsp.
So, you do it slower, but the effect is the same in the end. | The best way is to ask assist then let the assistant kill all. That way your hunts never get harder and you still get the gold!
Of course you can hunt solo until the hunts give fair gold, for you will want to cover cost of min AP and make something.
If you can then assist your assistant above and do the same, you will gain XP and FSP which you won't get on your own assisted hunts. | 5: wrong, afaik the hunt increases even if the original hunter kills nothing.
I thought about this problem and checked some figures, plz correct me if I am mistaken.
Assuming the hunt of 100 creatures is killed evenly by both hunter (each fsp 0.25):
to get the next solo hunt lvl (130) you fight twice, once against 100 and once against about 114.
You get 2*0.25 fsp and 2*0.5 HG, so that is equal to solo to the next hunt
xp should be roughly the same, actually slightly more in comparison as u killed 50 in one fight and 57 in the second.
But you get two times the gold reward and two chances to get hunter arts (if the chances are the same for solo and assisted hunt)
But you don´t get a hunter record for solo hunt. | #6:
The increase hunts for afk's is by 5% only. Not so much. The real problem is you will not get help from one moment in time because you will create a bad reputation.
On the other hand, if you don't split your gold, people will not be so willing to spend your their gold for your hunts. The best is to find a hunt buddy to help him/her and to receive help from him/her. But also in that case, you don't get any extra-money because you use your arts to assist.
So, I don't see any big gain in hunting with an assistant from hunting alone. The only gain is that up to red hunts (including), you can spend less money on arts if you hunt in two (you can hunt with min AP which even if you use twice those arts, it's cheaper than hunting solo with full arts or so). |
