How does elemental damage(eg: air, water, fire, ect) work?
In the artifact shop, cape of flame gives 25% fire elemental shield and cape of winds gives 25% air shield. So what do they protect against?
What do the other elemental shields(as mentioned above)give protection to? | Elemental Damage are damage types. Fire is damage dealt by anything that is fire based like Fireballs, Incendiaries, etc. Air Damage are things like Lightning bolt and Magic Arrow. They are either listed in the spell or ability.
Elemental enchantments give additional damage to troops of a specific type. A weapon with Fire 10% gives 10% more damage to the creatures under that hero of which the extra damage is of the fire type. Same applies to the other elemental enchantment types on weapons.
The fire shield, air shield, etc gie you protection from these by reducing the damage by a certain % |
