It because people don't want to travel, risk ambushes, lose the hunt that you had, and find out that the artifact is sold out. |

| you should ask why are people paying higher for round shields, wooden swords, oblivion potions for higher price in market when they can straight away buy them from artifact shop |

for Straws:
The market is there for people to buy and sell. It will not stop people from doing stupid things and buying items for more then they can buy it for from the facilities or the Shop. Not the responsibility of the game.
Looking out for sales such as these that has horrendous price increases (like a round shield selling for 10k) is a good way to catch cheaters too... |
