Phishing is an example of social engineering techniques used to fool users, and exploits the poor usability of current web security technologies.

Q. What is happening now?
there is no official announcement from admin that Lords of War and Money (as LoWM following) had tag with any website to allow players to vote and get any exp, resources and gold.
any website asking for your LoWM account id and password are consider as phishing. you might lose anything from you account if you give out the id and password. we might not pay any responsibility on those cases.
REMEMBER, staff of LoWM will never ask for you password. And, there is one and ONLY one website for LoWM.com - https://www.lordswm.com.

Q. What can i do if i had visit those phishing websites?
You should change your password asap before someone invade and causing any lose on your account.

Q. What can i do if i found any lose on my account?
After change your password, check your transfer logs. It can show where your gold or resources gone and you can make report.
You can post the problem under Complaints and Application section OR write a mail to admin (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4) to complain. Be patience, it will take time to solve the problem out.
Yelling in forum or chat will not get problem solved.

| What happened to the other topic.. what does this mean? Obviously if some site asks for my pass I won't give it.. but so there are these sites that ask u to vote, for ur pass, and says it gives you stuff? |
The most dangerous are sites that automatically load malware once you enter the site(no clicking involved)
This malware can then just record your keyboard entries and capture your password when you type it or retrieve your password from your Saved Passwords when you next go to any site that requires a password in your Saved Passwords list |

Yeah, that's pretty dangerous, but all of us should have the proper security restrictions and software used to protect our computers. Many times legit websites are infected as well, so when you go to your favorite site, you will be auto infected. |
we should use browsers like firefox or chrome because they show warning when we try to open a phishing website.

Not all phishing websites are detectable by firefox or chrome, you still should be careful. |
