| The diamond cost is different per unit and you need to pay diamonds for each seperate unit. You don't get all for a single faction in 1 payment |

| no you won't. you have to pay to upgrade with each faction seperately. just with gold and resources you have to do them seperately. and also why it doesn't do all at once is because different factions have different costs to upgrade |
